ART: Another Stripper

...because why not?

My love for Sergio Aragonés' works is well-known by this point, so drawing hot girls in his style is something I like to do every once in a while. The inspiration for this particular one came from the performances of a Spanish professional dancer and a stripper, Susana Reche, who always goes bottomless at the end of her shows, usually undoing a string thong bikini bottom.

As usual, higher-resolution pics can be found on my deviantART page as well as Rule 34 Paheal (here, here and here).

ART: Sexy Sensei

Drawing anime girls is not something I do very often, and as such it is a subject matter in which I woefully lack experience. Still, I do occasionally get the urge to dabble in it, though almost all of the time these attempts never progress beyond a half-finished sketch. What you see here is a rare exception.

Yukari Tanizaki from Azumanga Daioh! is one of my all-time favourite anime characters. I am usually not into over-the-top, chaotic characters but there's something about Yukari that captivates me. The out-of-control genki girl behaviour is off-putting to me and I've been told by my friends that it is curious how much I love Yukari when I absolutely despise Tomo from the same show, but I think what makes Yukari actually likeable is that unlike Tomo, she at least seems to be contributing something beyond just wreaking havoc and exhausting everyone around her 24/7. She is actually teaching things to her students and has enough self-awareness to not always let the "genkiness" fully take over her. As a result of all this, I think the ultimate appeal of Yukari, at least to me personally, is that she's a mature authority figure that still retains youthful playfulness.

(Now, if we get into her being a 'girlfailure' – as Zoomers like to call them – who drinks way too much, yeah... I suppose that's a bigger issue; nevertheless, this is a fictional character in one of the most defining slice-of-life anime shows of the early 2000s, so I'm willing to look past certain problems)

As for Yukari's looks, she is definitely one of the curvier characters in the original manga as well as the anime. Looks-wise, Yukari is top-notch: her tits are bigger than her colleague Nyamo's, and she seems to be very much aware of her own attractiveness as proven by her own dialogue and choice of swimwear, so I'd like to think that it's her loud personality and selfishness that seems to be dooming her to a single life. While I normally tend to be into girls with shorter hair, Yukari's flowing and wavy long hair is amongst one of my favourites of all anime girls and women.

When embarking on this sketch, I knew I wanted to make something based on Yukari's teasing nature and her status as a teacher of (likely very horny) male students. Inspiration came from many sources: the lace lingerie-clad girls of '80s and '90s anime and PC-98 adult visual novels, the age-old teacher fantasies every boy (including myself) has had and, last but not least, the two Private Tutor Nami hentai mangas that Azumanga Daioh!'s creator wrote and illustrated under the alias of Jonokuchi Jouji. These stories infamously feature a prototype version of Yukari, who is even more youthful and bears a striking resemblance to Misato Katsuragi from Neon Genesis Evangelion, who may have indeed been an inspiration for both characters. Scans of these can be found online, if you know where to look...

As is often the case, I did not use any pose reference for Yukari, though I did look at some poses later on to make adjustments to her thighs and to get the perspective/proportions correct for the lingerie elements. The lace detail is also something I fully improvised on the fly, since I wasn't able to find the kind of anime or visual novel reference images I wanted to copy for this. The only thing I am somewhat regretting is that I, er, did probably go a bit off-model with her body, as she is a lot skinnier canonically and her midriff/torso is more elongated. Unfortunately, I was feeling quite horny when drawing this, so I overlooked these aspects of her. I mean, her tits aren't that big in the show!

I would also like to give very special thanks to my friend Sadarax for helping me with the Japanese writing.

You can get the picture, as well multiple variants (such as Yukari done in the colour scheme of The Very Short Azumanga Daioh! Movie, as well as alternatives with a more basic background and with no background at all), in high-quality working resolution from my deviantART page (hit the 'Free Download' arrow button under the picture to get an archive).

ART: Red for Your Wall

While I do believe that I saw Jessica Rabbit's lounge singer number first back in the early '90s, I did eventually witness most of Tex Avery's Red Hot Riding Hood cartoons just a few years later. Naturally, since I was still a kid at that time, it took me many years before I finally "got" the titillating aspects of both things, and started to appreciate the eroticism.

(Also, I suppose if you needed to add a third girl into the mix, Betty Boop would be the obvious choice)

Red is quite the looker. The quintessential showgirl, she's leggy, has perky tits (but not giant ones like Jessica, since showgirls tend to burn through a lot of calories), wears revealing leotards and has copious amounts of make-up. She is also not an easy character to draw: I would argue that the girl she inspired, Jessica Rabbit, is far easier to nail. Red's face is similar to Gwen Tennyson's from the original Ben 10 series, in that it has shapes that need to be absolutely the right size and positioned in the right places or otherwise, even the slightest misplacement will make it look horribly wrong, and what makes this difficult is that there is very little to aid you in that placement. At least with Hartman designs, you can kind of see or draw lines from the various angles, such as hair spikes, and figure things out that way.

Another thing that gave me a massive headache was Red's body proportions. The first cartoon, Red Hot Riding Hood (1943), has a slightly different construction and design for Red, which is more cartoonish and stretchy, and her head is quite big in that one. The later cartoons would tone down the zaniness and portray Red in a more realistic manner, such as The Shooting of Dan McGoo (1945), where Red's head is considerably smaller. The third short, Swing Shift Cinderella (1945), released later that same year, is a return to a more petite Red with a slightly larger head. As always, I used my old rule of "just pick the design you enjoy the most and base it on that" and went with the SSC variant, which I see as a hybrid between the original and the Dan McGoo one.

In conclusion, I don't know how well this turned out. But hey, the next time I draw her, it should look better.

Go to deviantART here and here for high-resolution versions of all these images, including transparent ones without a background.

ART: Pumping Paulina

Sometimes, you draw a sketch that you intend to finish.
Then, you get bored with it.
Then, you forget it.
Then, you remember it, but you can't either find time or motivation to work on it.
Then, you forget it again.

Time passes.

Again and again, the sketch pops up and you recall thinking, "this is a pretty solid idea, I should finish this one day!" – but you never do.

Then, one day, you happen to find both time AND motivation to finally go "fuck it" and get the job done. You notice that there are some problems with the girl's hands, some of the background elements/characters don't quite mesh together, and you end up tweaking the sketch a lot. You can no longer remember what certain pencil lines were meant to indicate, so you improvise. As long as the end result looks good, it doesn't matter too much.

I hope you don't mind the speed lines. I can probably create an alternative version for the Art Archive down the line without them, if there's demand for it.

As usual, the high-resolution version is available on Paheal.

In a little less than a year from now, it will be precisely twenty years since I started drawing characters from Danny Phantom in compromised situations, though I never went public with it until two years later. Looking back at it, I've generally moved on to other things, both with my drawings as well as my life, and while I've long since disregarded DP as a mediocre-to-bad series with lots of wasted potential, I still find myself enjoying its vast roster of outright fuckable female characters. I don't really look at erotic fan art of them that much, mostly because the artists I follow these days don't do them and honestly would probably not nail the art style to my liking, but I occasionally look at some of the old fan art and screencaps of the show. Paulina, Maddie and Desiree still do it for me.

I know I've been mostly inactive for quite some time and sadly, that seems to be the direction where my life is going right now, but there'll still be new stuff coming down the line (although mostly it'll be old, unfinished pics/sketches that I've slowly been completing). In fact, there is likely going to be a long-needed update for the Art Archive before the year is over! Now, I am not certain whether it will be another, separate "update archive" or if I will just end up taking down the original archive and replace it with an updated one. We'll see.

Next up will be a SFW pin-up. That one should go up on deviantART as well, even though that site is barely functional these days. What a mess. Then, I'll likely give you guys a heads-up of my future plans.

ART: Fanny Service

I apologize for the title of the pic, I got REALLY lazy.

Having re-watched the original Walt Disney feature film of Peter Pan recently, I was very much taken aback by just how incredibly sexy Tinker Bell is. Obviously, this didn't come as a huge surprise as I've seen the movie before (and particularly the early scenes with Tink, such as when she's checking out her own body while tip-toeing on a mirror and when she ends up getting trapped in a drawer) but it was a nice refresher of just how curvy and sensual her original design is when compared to the more recent, tamer 3D-animated outings that feature the character interacting with other fairies of her own kind. Also, I think her eyes are a lot bigger in the original 1953 feature film. Needless to say, her scenes stuck out to me as the most memorable parts of the movie.

Last May, I ended up sketching a rough image of Tink feeling all hot and bothered, and removing her panties while baring her sweetest parts for the viewer. This sketch persisted on my mind and I ended up revising it several times, until I finally begun work to finalize it around late October. A lot more adjustments had to be made and I still think the perspective is slightly off between body parts above and below her waistline, but I'm otherwise somewhat content with the results. I do believe I need to further learn how to shade my illustrations better, though.

Originally, I was intending the background to be leaves and vegetation, but I ended up scrapping that idea as the pic was already well over two months in the making and I just wanted to get it out sooner than later.

For deviantART users, I've made available a downloadable archive featuring working resolution-quality pictures consisting of nine variants:

– full drawing with noise filters to emulate old film
– full drawing without filters
– drawing that lacks the glow effects but has noise filters to emulate old film
– drawing that lacks the glow effects and has no filters
– drawing without glow effects, sparkles or filters
– drawing without glow effects, sparkles or filters featuring only a plain black background
– drawing on a transparent layer without glow effects, sparkles, any background or filters
– grayscale high contrast black and white full drawing with noise filters to emulate old film
– grayscale high contrast black and white drawing that lacks the glow effects but has noise filters to emulate old film

This is the one to get if you want all these variants in the highest possible resolution and clarity. As far as I know, you need to have a dA account to log in and get the file.

You can also fetch a 3200p version of the main image on Paheal.

ART: New Year Stripper

Just a quick and dirty New Year's pic featuring an off-duty stripper styled after the great Sergio Aragonés, based on a comic article of his titled 'A MAD Look at Parades' (which was obviously published on MAD Magazine, sometime in the late '90s, I believe). I know the stripper in the said article – or specifically in one of the several comic strips included in it – does not wear a garter belt and fishnets, but I figured I'd add those in just because they look good on her.

The text in the speech bubble is trying to emulate the printing by hand featured in Aragonés' Groo the Wanderer comics.

Ultra high-res version available on deviantART and a smaller one (but still larger than this) can be found on Paheal.

Have a good one!
