Holiday Season

Is it just me or is Christmas getting more and more stressful every passing year? I guess I must be getting old... nevertheless, it's still a holiday I enjoy very much (sans Christmas songs, of which I grew tired over ten years ago). Infact, I tend to enjoy it so much that I rarely have time to draw any Christmas-related art and which is why I've now settled down to making just New Year's Eve themed pictures. I still don't know what I'm going to be drawing this year, although I do have a few ideas involving a champagne bottle and a pair of tits...

Overall, it's been a fun year, even if my picture output has been ridiculously low. I got myself a graphics tablet as well as a new computer, which is thankfully working now *knocks wood*. I finally did a proper anime picture and I definitely plan on doing more in the future. Next year, I aim to complete a couple of ideas that I've had at least since 2011 and start a few other ones. What they are – well, you'll see then.

But first, the art archive. I will start compiling it in about three weeks or so. And yes, there will be new artwork included as well.

ORDERED ART: For Your Eyes Only

What you're looking at is a magnificent illustration by the very talented JaviDLuffy, commissioned by Yours Truly. It is also, in my honest opinion, the best damn erotic fan art of the Woman in Gray!

Having already committed to ordering a commission, I found it to be very difficult to figure out what I would like to see from another artist. After all, many artists do not commission art from their colleagues as they'd rather take a shot at it themselves; the majority of fun in drawing comes from the very process itself, getting the idea from your head down to paper. It wasn't until many months later when I finally remembered one particular source of frustration that start during my early days as a smut-doodling novice and never went away: the Woman in Gray, known to masses as the third spy from the late Antonio Prohias' Spy vs. Spy (vs. Spy) comic strip featured in MAD Magazine. Prohias' style is very difficult to nail as it doesn't seem to have any particular rules regarding proportions and perspective, or rather any rules may be crudely disregarded in order to make room for humour. Add the varying ink line thickness to this and you've got a perfect way to drive me mad (pun partially intended). The first time I attempted to draw her was in 1998 and the last was slightly less than a month ago. I only have ONE finished, very wooden-like pin-up of her where I actually got her face right from around 2006 or so but it's so utterly boring to look at it's almost as good as a badly incomplete sketch.

Seeing that I had been unable to come up with a decent image of her, I shifted my problems to JaviDLuffy, complete with two very rough tablet sketches (that took hours to draw because I sucked at it), a basic idea of the character sitting in chair in that pose doing the breast squeeze/lift while covering her privates with the other hand and a bunch of reference photographs taken from adult magazines as well as scans from Prohias' original strips. As I stated before, he nailed it. On top of it, he shaded it in black and white and put up some wanted posters of the two male spies leering at her.

10/10, would commission again.

Also, as you've probably noticed by now, I'm adding a new tag/image category for my blog called ordered art, which will refer to any picture I have commissioned from another artist.

ART: Halloween '13 Double Feature

A Perfect Fit

While I've drawn female anime characters before, this is the first time I actually got around properly finishing and publishing one.

I'm a huge fan of FUNimation's gag dub of Crayon Shin-Chan and I was sad to see the show get such poor treatment on Adult Swim as well as apparently not selling enough DVDs to ensure continuation beyond Season 3... or was it that FUNi's license expired? Whatever the case is, I will miss seeing more new episodes about Shin's shenanigans and constant perving of women thrice his age and above.

Shin's mother Mitzi (Misae in the original manga/anime) is probably as prominent of a character as Shin is, and it's just delighting to see a comical middle-aged woman in a leading role in an animated show. Then again, this is anime where pretty much everything seems to be possible due to the Japanese people having much more open-minded attitude towards animation than the majority of Western audiences. In the gag dub, Mitzi is seen obsessing over getting breast implants, avoiding weight gain (unless it goes directly to her boobs) and daydreaming about handsome doctors and cartoon villains (while being pissed off when her husband and her son oggle at women). In the course of the show, Mitzi's butt gets a few mentions and even a couple of scenes where it's large size is commented on in a teasing manner. Being the ass man that I am, I knew that if I had to draw a Mitzi picture, there was going to be a high chance it'd feature her butt.

Since this is a Halloween-themed picture, Mitzi had to be wearing some sort of costume that would hopefully make sense on level. Eventually, I recalled seeing an episode where Shin dresses up as Yaz, a protagonist from a 'Magical Girl' show that his friend Georgie (Kazama in the original manga/anime) secretly obsesses about. During the course of the episode, Georgie eventually gets a chance to put on the dress himself and, for humor's sake, ends up getting caught wearing it.

But what if it was Mitzi wearing that dress...?

Patricia Fenton

Of course, I just had to draw another pic, featuring Maddie.

The idea for this piece came mostly from discussions I've recently had with some of my fellow fan artists, as the video game series Mighty Switch Force has popped up in them quite frequently. Even though I don't own neither the first or the second game (as they've not been released on PC, at least not yet), I'm in full agreement with everyone over how nice they look... and I'm not talking about the graphics here, wink wink, nudge nudge. Anyway, as I was talking about the series and looking at some of the promotional art (which I had actually seen before), I realized that Patricia Wagon (the protagonist for both games) seems to have rather nice, wide hips in some of the artwork... then my brain did the logical and placed another character's hips over Patty's. Soon afterwards, I was sketching like a madman.

I actually inked this one in Photoshop using a simpler variation of an old pen tool technique I learned from LLToon waaaay back in 2009. This is why there isn't any variation with line thickness, other than the outline which I did with the help of using the 'stroke' option found under 'blending options' (which I then used as my guide when I manually inked the thicker ink lines to make them look crispier).

I'm dedicating this one for Roger Bacon who's a fan of the game series as well as a fellow MILF enthusiast.

Oh, and that gun (Armacham HV Penetrator) is from a completely different game called F.E.A.R. (which, IMO, is one of the best FPS titles of the past decade and still an engaging, great game).

SCANS: The Prediction

Something I came across while browsing through a digital collection of classic MAD magazines, in search for Lady in Grey reference needed for a commission (which I have ordered from another artist)...

 For Fern and the celebration of MLaaTR's 10th Anniversary!

I tried to stick on-model as close as possible when drawing Vega. She's probably one of the most challenging MLaaTR characters to draw, mostly because there isn't any official reference of her beyond 'Escape from Cluster Prime' which was her only appearance in the show. I actually had the picture finished by Sunday afternoon but I held back releasing it until I had made certain there wasn't anything that needed to be changed or tweaked. Thankfully, it was worth it as there were some blaring typos present. Toonspew also suggested giving Vega a belly button to make her anatomy match Jenny's, which I think was a great idea as it really balances out the otherwise barren midriff, and Sadarax helped me figure out the series' timeline so that I could use the proper year (2073 in this case).

The mock article teases, once again, are based mostly on actual MLaaTR episodes, with some fanon/headcanon thrown into the mix. The most obvious one would probably be the one mentioning a 'happy ending' for Melody. Those of you who have seen the not-so-great third season of the show are well aware of some of the downer episodes that pretty much pitted Jenny against characters that had earlier been her (or the other protagonists') allies. In this case, I felt it would be neat to hint that Melody's story wasn't over just yet and that truce could be achieved.

Oh, and the high price is because according to Back to the Future Part II, there will be massive inflation in the future.

Hit Counter removed

Yup, it's gone. I don't know about you guys, but all it has showed to me during the past few months has been a blank space and an advert for some casino shit and nothing else. Perhaps it was my AdBlock settings or perhaps it was just broken. I don't know. Anyway, I just removed it. I think the counter had something close to 400,000 hits but I could be wrong too.


I don't currently plan on replacing the hit counter as I don't think it really serves that big of a purpose. Besides, it's more interesting to look at the 'Visitors' box which shows where people viewing my blog are located. You can find it below the subscription options box.

Anyway, that's all for now.

About the "neverending" art archive project...

As it's been for the past three years or so, the art archive project (a compilation of all my art plus some bonus content) I've been meaning to complete has constantly gotten delayed for one reason or another. I dropped some hints last year that I was going to go ahead and complete the damn thing to coincide my fifth anniversary as a cartoon smut fan artist but as it so happened my brand new computer decided to start malfunctioning and effectively ruined an entire month for me and thus killed any chances I would've had to finalize and release the archive.

Recently, though, I've slowly come to accept that the archive would've probably been delayed anyway as I don't think I was looking at the damn thing very realistically. Even though I reorganized the way I categorize my art in my blog back in 2011, that doesn't mean they're similarly organized on my hard disk. Besides rearranging my works on my own machine, I also wish to create some new content for the archive as an incentive for people to download it – I know, it's kind of an ass thing to do but at least I'm not charging anything for it. The new content would include both hi-res versions of my old stuff as well as possibly "Special Edition" versions of certain images I feel could just use little adjustments to make them better (obviously, these will not replace the original versions but will rather be additions). Then there's of course "never-before-seen" content, which isn't actually more than a handful of images, and I've also toyed around finishing certain pics that have been in development hell since 2010/2011. As a cherry on top, I have an urge to draw something I haven't drawn before as well as create A Very Special Maddie Fenton picture that features a her in a situation you've seen countless times but never drawn by me... or, at least, never drawn by me beyond hinting it.

Anyway, as you've probably realized by now, all this requires more than a mere month to pull off, especially if you're not someone like Fern who can whip up a complex image in about two or three hours (it never ceases to amaze me how fast he is and how good the results are considering how little time he spends on an image). Also, the summer job I landed this year has occupied the vast majority of my free time. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather have a job and no free time during the summer than limp through it and end up with negative savings, but... yeah, you know.

I should be back to full speed by fall. I still have that Sniper Tomcat order to finish and while the progress has been a slow one, it has been progress nonetheless. After the pic is done, I'll get to work with the archive. I will not expect it to be finished in one month, although I do hope to be able to restrain myself from going overboard with the whole thing. As tempting as it is to hold out until March 3rd 2014, having a release date be in about six months from the starting date may once again end up simply causing me to abandon the damn thing yet again as I suddenly have less and less interest in finishing the archive and instead focus on other things (which, BTW, is a very common problem with most fan artists).

In conclusion, I will not give you a specific date for the archive's release. The official statement is when it's done with the addition of hopefully before the end of the year.

LITE ART: Toothjob

No idea if this character has three boobs or not, I just went silly with it. I doubt they'll answer this question when the movie comes out, though.

This is probably the first time I've drawn, erm, fan art of a 3D-animated character.

ART: Heavy Lifting

It's been what, five years?

The pic is loosely based on the episode 'Chess Mom' from S4E06 of Dexter's Laboratory. Even though I dislike the post-Tartakovsky seasons for multiple reasons (drabby visuals, boring stories, rewritten canon elements, new VA for Dexter and so on), this particular short had loads of potential. The initial idea was to recreate Mom's cheerleading show during Dexter's chess game but this time having her wear her old cheer clothes – seen in the photo she looks at in an earlier scene – which no longer quite fit on her (tee-hee)! This also included Dexter in the background being embarrassed as hell and a proper background of the chess tournament hall as well, while Mom would be winking at the game host.

I ended up dropping the original background, plus the wink, and just went for a generic 'reaction background' instead. I also deviated from the original cheerleader uniform as well, replacing her leggings with thigh-high socks and changing the overall colour scheme to match her regular clothes instead of the flag of Sweden (I honestly don't get the colour choices made in the later seasons).

This pic was inked using Wacom Intuos for 95% of all the ink lines and Photoshop's pen tool for the remaining 5%. I also experimented with blur and noise filters in order to recreate a more cel-shaded look for the image (which is something I don't recall doing before).

Yes, the title is yet another ass joke, though you can also interpret it as a boner reference as well!

Quick status update

Yes, I'm still here. I'm just working on my final commission piece for Sniper Tomcat and studying for a couple of difficult exams so don't expect any new art for a little while. The commission is going to be regular art instead of erotic/sensual so I probably won't be uploading it here as I prefer to keep my blog just for the sexually charged stuff.

The art archive will likely end up delayed all the way to late June, unfortunately, as I simply have too much going on at the moment. However, I hope it'll be worth the wait. There's probably not going to be a brand new, previously unreleased huge theme pictorial like I did for JABComix but I do hope to draw at least one pic with a subject matter I know has been requested from me many times. Some would even say it's something I should be drawing by default...

After the archive is released, I will embark on a project with Toonspew. As you probably guessed, that also means no new art for a while. Well, the good news is, I have plenty of sketches laying around that only require me to ink and colour them, so you may still get something as I've been thinking about finishing a pic or two every now and then while attached to that project. Also, I'd go and say over half of it is hardcore in nature so... yeah. And some of it's not even DP-related, yay!

Just my luck

Well, here we are. Today is precisely five years from when I first started publishing my fan art on the internet. For the past year, I've been planning to celebrate the occasion with an archive of all my published art, including a few surprises, and a few other things as well and... I've got nothing.

As some of you know, I recently upgraded to a new computer. Usually this is a good thing, and it still is, but for the past two months it's caused me more trouble than relief. Without going into details, let's just say that the people who put it together had not paid enough attention on some of their configurations. In the end, I only managed to get one pic out before I had to return the PC to be repaired. I did try to solve the problem myself for the first two weeks but eventually I ran out of time and motivation... a good thing too, since it turned out the solution would've been out of my reach anyway.

Thankfully, I was able to keep up with all the latest developments via my portable. While I was able to produce a few doodles with it, I did not have Photoshop installed on it. Not that it would've mattered much since it would've been too slow to work with those humongous resolutions I favour. Besides, if anything good came out of this one, it's that I was able to concentrate on a couple of difficult university assignments much better than I probably would've if I had been able to go with my original plans and draw like a maniac the entire February. I was also able to brainstorm with Toonspew on our upcoming project which in turn resulted in a surprise collaboration with TheSharkragon on a quick Maddie doodle we designed – this would likely not exist if it weren't for the special circumstances I found myself in a few weeks ago.

But yeah. There's no art archive for you to download. No special Maddie pic I've occasionally mentioned. Nothing. All I can give you at this point is this journal entry. I wish I was able to write something glorious about the past five years but quite honestly, I'm not even in the mood. Still, all's not lost and despite the past month not going at all as planned, I'm hopeful about the future.

Here's what I'm going to do. Starting next week, I will return to work on my remaining commissions for Sniper Tomcat and fully finish them. After that, I will get back to working on the archive, the special celebratory pic and everything else I was going to have ready for today. The bright side is that I do not have a specific deadline for this, so I don't have to panic if I run into an art block and can't get something done. I will hope to have everything out before the spring is over. In the end, you'll get what I wanted to give you anyway, just later than I anticipated.

Let's postpone the celebration, shall we?

LITE ART: Fenton Tassels

Some of you may have already seen this sketch uploaded to Paheal. The reason why I hadn't posted it yet on my blog is that I hadn't figured out how to categorize it. However, I am posting it under 'lite art' until further notice since it does have similiarities with my usual inkings, the major difference being that it's fully digital.

I recently got myself a graphics tablet: Wacom Intuos 5 Touch L. So far, I'm liking it, although I can now see why so many of my friends warned me about it being a bit too large and how I should probably go with a medium-sized model instead. Oh well, it's too late now but I think I can manage. I hope to be able to do more efficient sketching/planning with it and also semi-retire Photoshop's pen tool which I've used to ink the majority of my pictures until this point. I am still going to use it with certain pictures (such as anything DP-related, fully finished art) but I hope to be able to go ahead and ink characters like Peg from Goof Troop much more naturally from this day forward.

The doodle you're looking at is actually part of a brainstorming session I had with Toonspew (My Life as a Teenaged Von Neumann Device) earlier this week. We've been working on-and-off with a potential comic project for about a year or so and this is a one-panel gag he came up as a way of giving Maddie a brief cameo appearance (the comic's not about her). The gag itself is obviously a reference to the way the Fentons would be showcasing their latest inventions in ghost hunting to Danny and Jazz. Also, this is the first tablet-made image I've posted on my blog!

In other news, it's less than a month for my fifth anniversary as a cartoon porn fan artist and I am furious because I've been having some serious computer problems recently. They eventually got so bad I had to take my PC to a shop to be repaired (I'm writing this from my laptop; I can doodle with my tablet on it but it lacks the power and tools for doing my regular stuff). This also means that I won't be able to go ahead with my original plans to have an art archive published at the date of the celebration, or that piece of art I had been planning to release in honor of it (hint: it's something Maddie-related I've been asked to do for a long time).

Both of these things will still happen, but there might be a two or three-week delay, maybe an entire month. It really depends on how soon I'll be able to get back to work. I'm positive that it won't take longer than that, though.

Commission for CDB2, a sort of continuation for this pic. The dialogue is also by him. This is the second pic I've done of Desiree that shows her full body, something which we never see in the original show. A wasted opportunity, if you ask me – she did have rather wide hips...

I included some unused ideas from the previous Desiree pic into this one, mainly the background items you see in Tucker's room. Infact, the Leia poster is directly lifted from the previous commission sketch. The shading's more traditional this time so if you're wondering why there's no bloom or anything, I know, it's left out on purpose.

I've also included some alternative versions with a more canonical background. There's also dialogue-free versions of the pic available.

LITE ART: New Year's Jubilee

UPDATE (about 6 hours later): well, I did manage to fuck it up. I had to redraw the right hand of the girl on the left side because I had accidentally drawn her thumb on the wrong side. Thanks for noticing it, Z. This means that I now had to use Photoshop to replace the erroneus hand with a proper one. Darn it!


Yes, it's a new 'lite art' piece. I haven't done these for almost three years. It's also traditionally inked as opposed to my usual artwork and the only tweaking I've done in Photoshop consists of arranging the girls and the text and cleaning up some pencil lines. This is, in a way, a sequel to this old X-Mas pic from 2008 and once again features sexy girls drawn in Aragonés style.

2012 was an interesting year. Throughout the year, I had been pushing myself to learn better shading and lighting effects and learning new, more effective ways of colouring a picture to speed up art creation process. I had two successful commission runs and tried out characters and cartoon series I hadn't done before. I had the pleasure of discovering Gravity Falls and was disappointed by SheZow (concept was awesome, execution was bad, most likely ruined by political correctness). I was scared shitless when Disney purchased Star Wars but felt some relief when J. J. Abrams announced he wasn't going to be directing. I watched the Roland Emmerich movie 2012 on December 21st, 2012, celebrating doomsday I knew wouldn't be coming anyway.

Let's see what 2013 has to offer. I know I'll be working with a high-end PC soon and I might even get myself a graphics tablet of some sort, so that should at least speed things up :)
