ART: Another Stripper

...because why not?

My love for Sergio Aragonés' works is well-known by this point, so drawing hot girls in his style is something I like to do every once in a while. The inspiration for this particular one came from the performances of a Spanish professional dancer and a stripper, Susana Reche, who always goes bottomless at the end of her shows, usually undoing a string thong bikini bottom.

As usual, higher-resolution pics can be found on my deviantART page as well as Rule 34 Paheal (here, here and here).

ART: New Year Stripper

Just a quick and dirty New Year's pic featuring an off-duty stripper styled after the great Sergio Aragonés, based on a comic article of his titled 'A MAD Look at Parades' (which was obviously published on MAD Magazine, sometime in the late '90s, I believe). I know the stripper in the said article – or specifically in one of the several comic strips included in it – does not wear a garter belt and fishnets, but I figured I'd add those in just because they look good on her.

The text in the speech bubble is trying to emulate the printing by hand featured in Aragonés' Groo the Wanderer comics.

Ultra high-res version available on deviantART and a smaller one (but still larger than this) can be found on Paheal.

Have a good one!

ART: Topless Secret /// EDIT: Roger Bacon's Agent Xero Pin-Up

I know I mentioned the next pic would be one of the upcoming commission works, but I managed to whip up this little number on the side. Not to worry, though, as that commission is about 90% completed and should be done in the next week or so.

As some of you may recall, many years ago I commissioned JaviDLuffy to draw a picture of the Gray Lady from the MAD Magazine classic, Spy vs. Spy. This is a character I've lusted after for quite some time but I never quite managed to draw her properly myself. Thanks to my recent acquirement of a new Samsung tablet that's powerful enough to do some sketching with, I've been able to work on my art a lot more lately and as such, I've decided to challenge myself almost every evening to draw sketches of characters I've either never drawn before or I've had trouble getting right – the Gray Spy falls into the latter category.

What you are seeing here is the first time I've been happy enough with a sketch that I've decided to actually finish it! Therefore, you may expect to see her pop up in later artwork in the future.

Higher quality version available on deviantART.

Way, way back in 2019 (or was it early 2020?), I asked Roger Bacon permission to ink and colorize a very nice sketch of Agent Xero that he had made that I had seen posted on 4chan's /co/. He said yes, and it took me several years to finally get to it. There isn't really not much else to say about it, except that I did slightly enlarge her head and therefore also had to tweak the hair a little bit. Everything else, though, has been preserved. The completion year for the original sketch is purely a guess, as the picture had no signature and I had to look up details from the file regarding the date I had saved it. I'm more than happy to update a proper date to the pic later, if I ever learn it.

The background was a nightmare to do.

Bacon's (and ZONE's) take on Xero/Lacey Shadows will be a hard act to follow but I do hope to eventually pay my own respects to this character in the future.

ART: After Gürsel /// Monroe and Mom

Well over two decades ago, back when I was still a kid, I stayed overnight at a hotel and remember seeing advertisements for a featured late night performance of a dance troupe that I suspect may have, in fact, been a stripper troupe. I very much remember them consisting of at least two dozen girls, if not more, and they all featured a distinct uniform, which was a tight, low-cut t-shirt that showed copious amounts of mostly silicone underboob (but hid the areolas and nipples), a high-cut string bikini bottom and classic high-heel shoes. Unfortunately, since I was woefully underage AND traveling with my parents, there was no way in hell I was able to go see their show. In the end, I was too much of a pussy to even grab a copy of the ad as a keepsake, since this was something that needed hiding and I wasn't 100% certain I would be able to do that. So, for all these years, I've kept the image in my mind...

...that is, until now, when I talked about it with my friend despojo. We talked about so much that it got me curious enough to finally put down that memory on paper (albeit only figuratively; the picture was done 100% digitally). Since I'm not skilled enough to draw realistic women, I figured I needed to do a more cartoonish take on it, but not too cartoonish. Luckily enough, I then remembered the legendary Turkish cartoonist Gürcan Gürsel and how he would often feature leggy, shapely young girls and women with big balloon tits in those comics that he would make strictly for adult humor publications. Since the focus was mostly just to get down the generic idea of what the girls, their pose and their uniform looked like, I only drew a single dancer/stripper. The digital painting was done using Kyle's Megabrush Set (or whatever it's called) and the colors were lifted directly from scans of Gürsel's adult comics. The end result is a bit stiff but nails all the important points from my memory, sans maybe the exact hair styles, whether or not there were pokies and how the girls' hands and arms were positioned (which I don't remember; I think they were crossed behind their backs but I'm not certain).

The show itself, and the troupe, remains a mystery to this day. The problem is, this was around the time the Internet was still brand new so most of the advertising would've been in print form. I also don't remember the exact time and place, outside that it was either in Sweden, Finland or Denmark, and the time period was between 1996 and 2002, likely at the turn of the millennium. There may have also been a man in a tuxedo, hosting the show, or he was perhaps the warm-up performer. The closest thing so far that I've heard might be an erotic dance troupe called UK Calendar Girls, but I'm not 100% certain if it was them as information about these things is really hard to find online and would mostly require asking people who were going to these shows during this time and assuming they still remember all the details.

If I do find out what this troupe or show (hell, it could've just been a one-time thing, too!) was, I will update it here and let you all know. A high-resolution picture can be found on my deviantART page.

Even though I am IP-rangebanned on 4chan, preventing me from posting anything, I still visit the board from time to time (yes, I know VPNs could solve the issue but I don't really have much interest in posting on 4chan these days). Late last year, I was browsing /co/ and stumbled upon a thread about the mother of a Bill Wray character called Monroe, who starred in his eponymous misery porn comic strip in the legendary MAD Magazine. I talked about this in an earlier blog update and how it inspired me to make an attempt at drawing Monroe's mom, who, depending on how the strip needs to present her, is either a total MILF sex bomb or post-wall, white trash woman with cellulite, body hair and crow's feet. In the end, it was usually a mix of these two, so I suppose calling her a "hot mess" would be the most accurate description. Despite her waning looks, she would immediately get the attention of horny men, even some of the hunkier and beefier types, and I think the comic made it painfully clear that she also knew how "service" those guys. The comic strip also tended to put her in a state of partial undress, usually in night gowns and robes, and her nipples are visible on the very second strip published.

Considering that this is the mom in the comic, and the main character, Monroe, is an endlessly horny teenager who values the idea of scoring with girls so much he tends to bite off more than he can chew (and thus usually ends up hurt and humiliated, often in the nude, while less-savory characters such as the resident school bully Dylan get off scot free and keep kicking him while he's down), the most obvious thing to draw when doing a porn parody of the comic is to simply have Monroe fuck his mother... so I did just that.

What makes this so great is that there is a time period in the strip where Monroe's mom and dad are divorced and she drifts aimlessly from one provider to another but never settles, while Monroe is lusting hard after a schoolmate of his, Jolynda. While this already provides a good explanation for Monroe's mom for the purposes of a porn parody, what makes it even sweeter is that there is a strip centering around Monroe running as a class president, and in it we get an erotically-charged daydream sequence of Monroe imagining himself as the POTUS and Jolynda as his intern (this was around the tail-end of the Clinton years) about to do the nasty in the Oval Office. In this particular strip, Jolynda's design is fully identical to that of Monroe's mom! It sure feels like an internal Oedipal struggle happening in Monroe's mind there. As for the lactating breasts, Monroe's mom does go through a pregnancy in the strip, although this results in her getting back together with Monroe's dad, so I suppose from that sense, the parody makes no sense... but I do like lactation! Monroe's mom's outfit comes from a strip where she is working as a camwhore – quite a pioneer, considering this strip was released in the late '90s!

This is also the first blatant mom/son incest pic I've done. While it is true that in one of the JABComix commissions from 2011 did feature what appeared to have been two Danny clones, I never made it clear who these cock-carriers were. The Zoda-Z commission, while based on my idea, also doesn't count since I didn't draw it. Therefore, it is only now, over fourteen years after I started, that I finally committed to a fetish/category that people sometimes erroneously think I represent just because I've specialized in MILFs.

Big thanks to Reference Emporium on Twitter for providing all the reference material for this pic! I do have my own MAD Magazine collection but a lot of the late '90s issues aren't in the best condition anymore and I try to avoid opening, browsing and scanning them as much as possible to prevent any further wear.

As usual, the high-quality version of this picture can be found on Rule 34 Paheal.

ORDERED ART: For Your Eyes Only

What you're looking at is a magnificent illustration by the very talented JaviDLuffy, commissioned by Yours Truly. It is also, in my honest opinion, the best damn erotic fan art of the Woman in Gray!

Having already committed to ordering a commission, I found it to be very difficult to figure out what I would like to see from another artist. After all, many artists do not commission art from their colleagues as they'd rather take a shot at it themselves; the majority of fun in drawing comes from the very process itself, getting the idea from your head down to paper. It wasn't until many months later when I finally remembered one particular source of frustration that start during my early days as a smut-doodling novice and never went away: the Woman in Gray, known to masses as the third spy from the late Antonio Prohias' Spy vs. Spy (vs. Spy) comic strip featured in MAD Magazine. Prohias' style is very difficult to nail as it doesn't seem to have any particular rules regarding proportions and perspective, or rather any rules may be crudely disregarded in order to make room for humour. Add the varying ink line thickness to this and you've got a perfect way to drive me mad (pun partially intended). The first time I attempted to draw her was in 1998 and the last was slightly less than a month ago. I only have ONE finished, very wooden-like pin-up of her where I actually got her face right from around 2006 or so but it's so utterly boring to look at it's almost as good as a badly incomplete sketch.

Seeing that I had been unable to come up with a decent image of her, I shifted my problems to JaviDLuffy, complete with two very rough tablet sketches (that took hours to draw because I sucked at it), a basic idea of the character sitting in chair in that pose doing the breast squeeze/lift while covering her privates with the other hand and a bunch of reference photographs taken from adult magazines as well as scans from Prohias' original strips. As I stated before, he nailed it. On top of it, he shaded it in black and white and put up some wanted posters of the two male spies leering at her.

10/10, would commission again.

Also, as you've probably noticed by now, I'm adding a new tag/image category for my blog called ordered art, which will refer to any picture I have commissioned from another artist.

SCANS: The Prediction

Something I came across while browsing through a digital collection of classic MAD magazines, in search for Lady in Grey reference needed for a commission (which I have ordered from another artist)...

LITE ART: New Year's Jubilee

UPDATE (about 6 hours later): well, I did manage to fuck it up. I had to redraw the right hand of the girl on the left side because I had accidentally drawn her thumb on the wrong side. Thanks for noticing it, Z. This means that I now had to use Photoshop to replace the erroneus hand with a proper one. Darn it!

Yes, it's a new 'lite art' piece. I haven't done these for almost three years. It's also traditionally inked as opposed to my usual artwork and the only tweaking I've done in Photoshop consists of arranging the girls and the text and cleaning up some pencil lines. This is, in a way, a sequel to this old X-Mas pic from 2008 and once again features sexy girls drawn in Aragonés style.

2012 was an interesting year. Throughout the year, I had been pushing myself to learn better shading and lighting effects and learning new, more effective ways of colouring a picture to speed up art creation process. I had two successful commission runs and tried out characters and cartoon series I hadn't done before. I had the pleasure of discovering Gravity Falls and was disappointed by SheZow (concept was awesome, execution was bad, most likely ruined by political correctness). I was scared shitless when Disney purchased Star Wars but felt some relief when J. J. Abrams announced he wasn't going to be directing. I watched the Roland Emmerich movie 2012 on December 21st, 2012, celebrating doomsday I knew wouldn't be coming anyway.

Let's see what 2013 has to offer. I know I'll be working with a high-end PC soon and I might even get myself a graphics tablet of some sort, so that should at least speed things up :)

Happy New Year 2013, everyone!

LITE ART: Stripperific Holidays

Sergio Aragonés draws some very fine-looking women. For the past 11 years I've been trying to learn his style of drawing sexy girls and I can tell you, it's a pain in the ass!

Naturally, I've been tinkering with #17 for the past few nights but during the occasional breaks I've been working on an Aragonés-style pic I felt that was actually going somewhere. I finished it ten minutes ago and I feel that it came out nicely.

With this pic I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

(BTW I won't be taking any long breaks from drawing - on the contrary!)
