* some of you were shocked when I mentioned that I had been thinking about quitting. I wondered why, because I stated that I was not going to do so. Then I took another look at my post and noticed I had forgotten the word "not" from it. Instead, it read that I will be quitting. This is not the case. I am NOT quitting, just toning down the amount I spend with my art (I don't want it to dominate my life as happened with the orgy pic). Anyway, my bad :P
* Danny was supposed to have a speech bubble too, but I eventually decided against it as it'd cover up a lot of space
* Sam is supposed to have a record player on her desk, but I left it out because I'm lazy :P
* the colours are 95% based on the actual episodes. Even though I could've used ready colour batches for characters I had drawn before, I decided against it as I wasn't happy with some of my original choices (e.g. how Ember looks in my pic of her). The sole exceptions are Desirée and parts of Danny (Fenton) - their colours are from my earlier works
* this pic is not a statement against Danny/Sam 'shipping.
* one viewer noted that Lydia's mohawk is placed sideways and that it is most likely a goof. This is not the case as that's how it really is drawn in the actual show too:
Go figure :P* speaking of Lydia, there are at least three "easter eggs" hidden amongst her tattoos. You may want to check out the hi-res version of the pic to properly able to spot each one of them
* here's a list of the above-mentioned easter eggs:
- MAX KORN, a MAD Magazine in-joke, found on Lydia's back (only partially visible, which means it can also be read as XXX PORN - I totally did that on purpose)
- a ghost from the classic arcade game Pac-Man, found on Lydia's right calf
- Lambda logo from Half-Life video game series, found near Lydia's right ankle (partially obscured by Danny's aura, so it's quite difficult to spot unless you check out the high-res version)
- a pentagram, right between the Lambda logo and the Pac-Man ghost
However, the duck-billed platypus on Lydia's arm is not an easter egg - that was actually in the show!
* Lydia is missing her nose ring. I left it out on purpose as I didn't really like how it looked when viewed from side
* the method I constructed the pic was that I drew multiple (I guess it would be around 9-10) different, smaller sketches which I then combined in Photoshop. After that I inked each sketch on a different layer and I also coloured each layer separately
* Some alternative lines for Sam:
"What the fuck, Danny? None of those names are mine!"
"This is the last time I am going to say it, Danny. No more crack."
"You haven't forgotten my name, have you?"
"If I don't hear my name soon, it's back to sticking your dick in the Fenton Thermos!"
* Desirée's name is written in the biggest letters for a few reasons: first of all, she's my favourite of the ghost girls and second, she's easily the centerpiece of the actual orgy section of the pic
* I consumed lots of energy drinks during the process of making this pic. During the two months I worked on the pic most intensively, I estimate that I emptied nearly 90 half liter bottles of energy drink. Not very healthy (I immediately halted consuming them the day after the pic was published)!
* at least one person thought about going back to Danny Phantom after seeing my pic. My advice: if you have really fond memories of the show, then consider not watching it again. I know it because I used to think it was one of the top contemporary Nick cartoons at the time I started watching it and when I went back to it again to prepare myself for the pic, I was surprised to find it wasn't nearly as good as I remembered :P the babes are hot, I give you that, but otherwise DP is a mediocre cartoon
* I'll be able to start with the commissions in 1-1½ weeks. I still have one more release to finish during that time
* there's going to be some changes to the site: the poll will be removed completely until I can find an alternative one that cannot be abused by anyone (including myself), Hottie Appreciation Box will switch from monthly updates to quarterly, Random Crap might be removed and the site layout will be changed to something different. I'll also be adding a new banner soon-ish
I might make some additions to this post later on if something comes up.

Very true, rewatching recently made me realize it was pretty Meh aside from the girls mind you :) it just made me want to do them better justice.
BTW, A truly awesome pic. Thanks for posting the sketches as well.
I admit, it started to sag near the end, but it still was one of the more enjoyable shows during it's tenure. I still wish they could bring it back and at least give it an ending that didn't feel rushed or convaluted.
Glad to hear you're not quitting, I was glad it was just a typo. Glad to know you're also not going to let it dominate your life. I'm sure you'll enjoy the much needed free time.

XXX Porn is the only real standout. Guesses include the Tiki Mask, heart and dagger, a crack on the back of her thigh, and a pentagram?!?!
One thing that is very obvious is the potential for standalone images of the 2006-2009 sketches. As seen with ChaosInuyasha’s birthday sketch of ‘She Did It Again’. Desiree and Spectra enjoying the moment with each other, along with “Dat Ass” on Dora makes the February 2009 sketch a definite DO WANT!
You could have easily released an earlier image of lesser quality but chose to stick with the final project all the way through, regardless of missed quotas and overly anxious fans. That takes major dedication. There are far too many high-profile erotic artists that are willing to abandon projects the moment it reaches an undesired point. It would be like seeing a television series end 1/3 through the first season because the producers lost interest.
● On this project did you take the Bbmbbf approach of pasting together multiple single images into one huge collage or did you vector one enormous image at once?
WWOECFan: you did find one of them. Actually, it says "MAX KORN", which is a MAD Magazine reference. However, I purposedly made it partially hidden so that it could also be seen as "XXX PORN" :p
The pentagram and the heart/dagger tattoos are my additions but they're not the two remaining easter eggs I was talking about. The remaining two are video game references and one of them is partially obscured by Danny's aura so it's not easy to make out what it is.
Good question about the method I constructed this pic. I'll answer it in the post.
Wow! For once, I'm surprised my comment was actually mentioned. I appreciate the advice and the fact that the girls are hot; it's just that the last episode I saw was "Urban Jungle" when it was on Nick. This was before I got Nicktoons Network. But, I'll see what you mean with the advice.

Some fans seem to love the first nine episodes and say that the series gets stupid after that. I think it loses some of its quality even earlier, although the most notable drop comes during the third season. That's when the writers ditched the whole idea of ghosts being dead humans and started introducing more monster-like characters.

I think the series was great but they left it a little too vague on the nature of ghosts. Dealt a little too far in the living aspect so it didn't really balance. I wish Nick let Butch focus more on it than Fairly Oddparents, it would've made the final seasons so much more enjoyable.
Something doesn't have to be TEH BEST CARTOON EVAR to be enjoyable. That's the worst fanboy mistake a nerd can make: putting something on a pedestal or expecting it to be something it's not; see the /co/ meme IT WUD HAV BIN BETTAR IF IT HAD BIN DARKR N MORE SEERIUS (AN DEN I WUD HAIT IT FOR DAT), or DLT's own recent "I know exactly what the creators set out to accomplish and they failed!failed!failed!!1" rant about Jimmy Two-Shoes.
The blogging about the orgy pic reminds me of Hollywood's latest fiasco: the production video journal. Peter Jackson's "King Kong," "Poseidon," and "Watchmen" all had online journals that fed nigh-daily updates to raving fans--but when the movies finally came out, they didn't perform so well, possibly because the fans' appetites had been spoiled by too many treats of footage-bits, and non-fans had been made sick by the endless hype.
Anon: I didn't exactly mean to sound like that. What I meant was that when Danny Phantom had a great impact on me when I first saw it in 2006, I seriously thought it was some of the better cartoons ever. The truth is, it had been a few years since I had watched any cartoons at all and DP was the first one I saw after a long break. When I saw other contemporary cartoons afterwards, I started to get a good comparison for it and suddenly it was far from being the masterpiece I originally thought it was. I still consider the first few episodes to be solid fun, though.
I wonder if the same thing will happen to me when I eventually rewatch all Kim Possible episodes.
As for the whole hyping thing, yeah. I don't think I'll be doing that again if that's the effect.
